Plan the ceiling
Where, how many, how low.
Room centre
Add the room’s length and width in metres and multiply by 8 for a good light width in cm. A 1.2 × 1.3 m closet gives 20 cm (Ø 20); a 1.5 × 1.8 m entry gives about 26 cm (Ø 25).
Ø 20 · 25 cm · small rooms up to 5 m²
Ceiling height
MIRELLA is only 11 or 15 cm deep. On a standard 2.4 m ceiling that leaves well over 2.1 m (7 ft) of clear headroom, so it suits even low ceilings.
Any ceiling · from 2.3 m
Hallways & landings
For a corridor, line up several MIRELLA lights down the centre, one about every 1.5 to 2 m. Matching lights give a long hallway a calm, even rhythm.

Styling secrets
Make it truly magnificent
- ✦ Use a warm white (2700–3000K) dimmable G9 LED for the softest glow.
- ✦ Echo the terrazzo with stone, marble or speckled ceramics in the same room.
- ✦ Repeat the brass with door handles or a mirror frame for a pulled-together look.
- ✦ In long hallways, line up two or three for a calm, gallery-like rhythm.
