Plan the ceiling
Where, how high.
Room centre
Add the room’s length and width in metres and multiply by 8 for a good diameter in cm. At Ø 55 cm, LAMINA suits rooms of about 3.5 × 3.5 m. For larger rooms, use two or add wall lights.

Over a table
Ø 55 cm suits a table about 80–90 cm wide, such as a 4–6 seat dining table. Mount it so the lowest disc sits about 75–90 cm above the tabletop.

Ceiling height
LAMINA hangs 50 cm below the ceiling. Where people walk underneath, use it on ceilings of about 2.6 m or higher to keep 2.1 m of clearance; over a table, lower ceilings are fine.
