Each shade is handwoven from natural rattan, so subtle variations in tone, texture and weave are part of its character. The open weave keeps it visually light, even in the largest size.

Plan the ceiling
Which size, how high.
Room centre
Add the room’s length and width in metres and multiply by 8 for a good diameter in cm. A 2 × 2.5 m room suits Ø 35 cm, a 2.5 × 2.5 m room Ø 40 cm, and a 3 × 3 m room Ø 50 cm. For larger rooms, use several pendants.

Over a table
Choose a diameter of about two-thirds of the table’s width: Ø 35 cm for a 55 cm table, Ø 40 cm for 60 cm, Ø 50 cm for 75 cm. Over an island, hang two or three in a row, about 60–75 cm apart. Hang the bottom of the shade 75–90 cm above the tabletop.

Ceiling height
Where people walk underneath, set the cord so the bottom of the shade is at least 2.1 m (7 ft) above the floor. On ceilings above 2.4 m, add about 7.5 cm of drop for every 30 cm of extra height.
