The story
Warm rattan, crisp white
Each shade is handwoven from natural rattan over a steel frame, so subtle variations in tone, texture and weave are part of its character. The white band adds a fresh contrast that works with both warm wood and bright white interiors.
- ✦ Handwoven natural rattan with a white woven band.
- ✦ Five sizes, Ø 30, 40, 50, 55 or 60 cm.

Plan the ceiling
Which size, how high.
Room centre
Add the room’s length and width in metres and multiply by 8 for a good diameter in cm. A 2.5 × 2.5 m room suits Ø 40 cm, a 3 × 3 m room Ø 50 cm, a 3.5 × 3.5 m room Ø 55 cm and a 3.5 × 4 m room Ø 60 cm. For larger rooms, use several pendants.
(L + W) × 8 · = diameter in cm
Over a table
Choose a diameter of about two-thirds of the table’s width: Ø 40 cm for a 60 cm table, Ø 50 cm for 75 cm, Ø 60 cm for 90 cm. Over an island, hang two or three Ø 30–40 cm shades in a row, about 60–75 cm apart. Hang the bottom of the shade 75–90 cm above the tabletop.
Hang 75–90 cm above · about ⅔ of table width
Ceiling height
Where people walk underneath, set the cord so the bottom of the shade is at least 2.1 m (7 ft) above the floor. On ceilings above 2.4 m, add about 7.5 cm of drop for every 30 cm of extra height.
2.1 m clear · over walkways
